This man was just a scapegoat. Any Dr in the world would have been found guilty in his place. I feel sorry for him.

I once worked in the anaesthetic department of an operating theatre. The cocktail of drugs he gave Jackson should never have been given outside of a hospital without monitoring equipment. He is definitely not a scapegoat. He is guilty of gross medical misconduct.

I don't think scapegoat is the word you are looking for. There was no larger group he was taking the fall for. He did it, he took the wrap. I know if a doctor gave those drugs to a member of my family I would want him to be held accountable.

I think he's a scapegoat in the case that there's no proof that Jackson didn't take the drugs on his own accord. So I guess the larger group would refer to Jackson himself.
