The Hasbro wankers at Toyfair told me they won't be releasing Joe toys in the U.K. this summer.
FUCK HASBRO.

Yeah, I've never understood how they won't show at least some of it. It's one thing when it's San Diego ComicCon and Wizard World. Those are conventions for fans so they might would be reserved in what they showed. UK Toy Fair and New York Toy Fair are mostly for retail buyers. You'd think it would at least be in a back room for showing even if they gave out retailer badges to see it. Which I think you said they did last year for Thundercats. Fans going and seeing the stuff is something they can control if they wanted to. Have certain areas that you have to be a retail buyer to get into. It'd feel like being cock blocked, but at least it would make sense that some of it is there.

Yeah, the Marvel stuff was in a closed off high security broom cupboard. That's where I asked about the Joes. It was the retailer equivalent of Level six security lol.
It seems retarded to me that they put so much effort into controlling photos, only to hand out a booklet with all the products in afterwards to anyone. They really are that dumb.

It used to be that stuff might not have cleared license yet or items that may not make it in store. These days though, allowing fan interactivity and making sure license are at least pending, it doesn't make sense.
