I prefer to call it The Avengers. I saw it in 3D with my oldest today and thought it was a brilliant movie.
Every character had a set piece and there were some awesome fight scenes.
What made the film though was the humour there were plenty of lol moments.
I'd give it a solid 9/10.

I saw it in 2D. I thought the first half hour dragged a bit, and they kinda shit on Hawkeye at the beginning. I think it would have made sense to give him the lion's share of the backstory time as he's the only one who hasn't had significant screen time in other movies. Consequently, I found myself not giving a shit about him. The rest was good though. I think the best joke was when Loki tried to brainwash Stark. That was lol. The big snake things were also a bit piss weak. They seemed to die really easily. Top marks for Johansen's tits though.

8 out of 10.

I thought Hawkeye was better as a bad guy. He looked quite bad ass when he led the attack on the carrier. I had a Revenge of the Sith Jedi Temple flashback.
The bad guys apart from Loki seemed secondary to The Avengers it could have been 3 men and a donkey although the snakes were a bit Dark of the Moon.
I laughed at the Stark bit it was very funny and Hulk and Loki was funny as well.
As for best quote "mewling quim" by Loki both shocked and delighted me and I agree Johansen's tits = awesome.
